Default Navigation Not Working

Hello everyone, I bought my C6 ZO6 last October and it has the factory

navigation installed. Well when I bought it the previous owner had taken the

CD with him. The dealership ordered me a new CD and I picked it up today.

When I first put the CD it loaded up the maps and everything just fine. But

then it seemed to freeze and started moving extremely slow. Then eventually

it stopped working all together. So I turned the car off, pulled out the CD and

then tried "reinstalling" the CD and turned the car back on. After this the NAV

screen said I needed to install the CD while the CD was in there. After this

had happened 3 or 4 times it finally read the CD and it loaded up the maps but

it the screen was all blurry like it had a virus or something like that. I guess

I'm curious if anyone else has ever had this problem or heard of it and what

they did to fix this issue. Thanks for all the help and input!

Welcome to the forum.

I wonder if the DVD that the dealer gave you was bad. The only other thing that I can think of would be that the head unit itself is bad.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the help. I sure hope it's not the head unit that will be a pretty penny.
