I have a original 64 (78K mi 3 owner)that has recently started having the spring hit the inside of the rim on the RR (talk about freaking out when it started...) Nothing has changed and it's completely un touched. I'm not a suspension pro but all I can see that's worn is the bushings that connect the spring to the trailing arm. The rest looks tight and in place. I think if the strut rod bushings were worn it would push the bottom of the tire out not in....... Any suggestions before I start taking it apart would be appreciated.
