Does anyone know if anyone makes a custom headlight assembly for a 79 to eliminate the pop up frog eye headlights. I don't even want to replace in the original location, but I'd like to see if anyone has done anything with this. Walt

I know I have seen entire front ends where the lights are fixed and not pop up.

copy and paste that link. They're kind of expensive ..... you still have to paint them and then the plexiglass covers cost you ANOTHER $280. I've always thought they were kind of ugly. I'll look around a little more and see if I can find a pic of them installed.

Here is mine. It came with the non-pop ups. Wanna trade?

you can buy the recessed headlamp assemblies at rik's corvette parts for 350.00 pair and trade in your old headlamp assemblies and get 200 off that price.
