I am trying to locate a repacement fan and fan clutch for my 1969 Coupe (350). I have tried from the usual sources,Ecklers,Mid-America,Paragon and so on. It seems that no one is currently making this seven bladed fan for an auto with AC. Does any one have another source or is it possible to fit one from another year? My fan shroud is 19 inches in diameter. I would prefer not to go the Electric Fan route if possible.

Ya might try,
www.pacvette.com

They are a Vette wrecking yard, with yards in Oregon, and Washington.
I got a steering column for my C3 from them.

PS,
They have new parts too.

5 blade fan 17" 559250
7 blade 17.5"   552815 and
fan clutch         551416 and
www.docrebuild.com has:
fan clutch 1050301 but lists the fan as disc. Hope that helps. PG

For what's it's worth, when I put factory air in my 73 L82, I kept the original five blade and never had any cooling problems.

Thanks for the possible sources. I will do some research and let you know how this works out. I am 18 months into a body off restoration on this car and I am NO mechanic. I will probably have many more tech questions before this thing ever runs again. Thanks for the responses.

Keep the faith. It'll all come together.

Don't hesitate to ask questions.  There are a lot of knowledgeable folks on this forum.

What an adventure. the pacvette.com did not have one nor did corvettepartsdepot.com. I got the same story from both. GM stopped making and carrying this fan.I have a friend who has a 70 Convertible with air, he is using a 5 bladed fan with no problems. This problem is almost as frustrating as not being able to find a tinimg tab that will work with this engine. The block is stock but I added a Holly systemax kit,an aluminum after market water pump and aluminum timing chain cover. Some where in all this the geometry of a $2.00 timing tab won't fit as it should. Oh,I put a 6 inch balancer on it. Have spent more time trying to figure this out than it took to put the motor together. Beer is my friend

Another thing about the 7 blade fan is that it is very loud when the fan clutch is engaged.

It quiets down when the clutch starts to allow slippage tho.
