Based on a cars.com search, I've seen used 07s as low as mid 40ks and generally hovering in the $50k range.  Am I dreaming?  If not I need to start saving.

Can anyone comment on the how much used 07 z06 prices will dip in 2008?

It is also my understanding that 05 and 06 z06s do not have the 7year 100k factory warranty.  Is that correct?

Thanks guys.

only the 07s have the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warrenty(unless you have an extended warrenty)...previous years had the 3/36,000 powertrain warrenty

mid 40s for 07 ZO6?  I haven't seen anything except low-end, high mielage (for one year) stndard 'vettes in that price range.

The thing to think about on the '08 ZO6 is the model has been a round a few years and GM needs to jump on the competition (and the current model) with another 5% or 10% power, so I'd expect 525-550 HP sometime in a couple of years -- they will hit the resale of the current model a bit.

I've never seen a Z06 priced that low.  I've seen a few in the $50K's but never the $40K's.  I would be very cautious of a $40K Z06
