Typically, a K&N and a new lid add only about 3-5 RWHP. But that is compared to a clean, stock, air cleaner. Compared to an old and dirty filter -- particularly some no-name budget filter, they might produce 10-12 HP more, enough power to actually feel.

Not a problem.
Good stuff. I saw that link posted here recently, but didn't hit it. This time I did, and the site host said after he hacked his airbox, he couldn't tell a difference. That's a surprise to me, as it seems to have been with him. I might go there, after I fix the leak in this heap . Legs have been un-cooperative the last two days, from that hit last year.
How's the back there?

And I thought my L98 was a strong twister. WHEW! 0 engine tweeks thus far too. Except the K&N. I can't imagine what some of you guys' machines with LS1 does! 
... 10 months post hit.
