So... I was wasting time at work surfing around... a slow day... and to my surprise, I found a site called CorvetteForum.com.  Do we like them?  Are they like the opposing team?  Are they stealing our answers to questions and re-posting them as their own?  Are they with us or against us?  Why are they purple? (you fans of the TV show Andromeda will get that one...)  I don't know... just thought it was funny... and I was bored!

Yeah - I went in there to register, and link back some junk this way.

After 25 minutes, I ain't activated yet. Good forum there guys...

I emailed the administrators, and asked 'em if activation was an 'organic' process

I have noticed of late, that we have new members that have left them, and come over to us. A recent developement is that they have commercial ads right in the posts of members. That has proved to be an offensive move on their part.
I have contacted our admins and was assurred that practice will not occur here.
Opposing team?  No competition as far as I'm concerned.
Steeling our posts? What better compliment than to be impersonated. It just shows that we are a knowledgeable group.
With us or against us? Who really cares, we know we have a great site.

When I first started my search for Vette info, I went to their site, but I settled in wth corvetteforum"s" because of the friendly members and great info.

Corvetteforums.com, home sweet home!

Well... this is the first one I found way back when... and the only one I use.  You guys are way more fun.  I thought ya'all would know about them (wannabe posers they are...) but it was late, and I was bored.  They don't even have a ROTM. Cheesh!

15 hours, and still not 'activated'. I think it IS an organic process.

Either they use a sundial, and they're in the shade...

EDIT: It IS a sundial gig - THEY'RE IN THE UK... 300 DAYS/YEAR OF CLOUDS AND RAIN

Wanker's! Huh? They won't let ya attach pictures unless you pay. Still, they do have some good info...two heads are better than one, I always say. But this is definitely home for me. Glad I'm allowed to stay.
