I bought floor mats from these crooks and they shipped the wrong product.

Advertised incorrectly and they KNEW it was the wrong product when they shipped it.

This was off Ebay. I should have known better.

Now they will refund my money if I return them. So then I'm out the shipping BOTH ways.

When will the crooks go away?

sigh.

Hey jdeatsch it's a shame that company doesn't have customer service in mind when doing business.  I have found that doing business with places such as Ecklers, Corvette Central, Corvette America might be a little more expensive but well worth it when you run into problems like yours.  They stand behind what they do and will treat the customer properly.  Sometimes we take a chance and have to learn through that never ending school of hard knocks.

For the most part, I've had some pretty good experiences with eBay. I can understand a lack of customer service because if you think about it, most of those eBay Stores are one-man operations. I usually only buy things from the stores that have been around a long time with thousands of positive feedback (not to mention an 800 number I can call, which I usually do call before ordering just to see if there is somebody on the other side).

So far I've been lucky with eBay and haven't gotten worked over...

I stand by ebay; I have not had one single problem and I have been a member since 2000.  (Knock on wood)

Just for the record and I'm not endorsing any business in particular, I have ordered a few items from The Last Detail with no complaints. Also ordered an item from Eckler's which was not correct but it would have cost more to send it back than it was worth.
