Well, I made up my mind today and finally got one on order.  I was debating about victory red, black, or jet stream blue. I went with the blue with black interior.  here are the specs:

Jet stream blue/black interior
3LT package with 6 speed manual
Z51 suspension package
Premium audio with nav.
exhaust upgrade
comp. gray wheels

They told me that it would take about 5-7 weeks for it to get to my dealership......does it usually take that long or does it usually take less?  MSRP was close to 57k.  Im pretty excited.  Does anyone have any pics of the jet stream blue with the gray wheels?  Thanks

I called and changed the interior color to two tone gray and black just for the flags in the head rest.  Has anyone seen these seats in person?  How do they look?

OK guys, I deserve to be drummed out of the Forum.  I had run up 15,600 miles on my 2007 Monterey Red convertible with the manual and had a lot of fun.  I was looking for an every-day driver and looked over the usual suspects:  Suzuki SX4, Mazda3, Subaru Impreza.  Finally, I tried the VW Rabbit.  All OK, but after driving a 'Vette...  Then I drove a VW GTI with the DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) and it is spectacular in the way it shifts up and down.  And the thing is blitzschnell and corners like a go-kart.  So I bought it.  Then the 'Vette seemed like surplus, so I sold it.  I really don't miss the 'Vette, actually.  I'll be looking at 'Vettes again in 2010, and hope by then they have something as perfect as the DSG, which has all the fun and control of a manual, but the wife can drive it in stop-and-go traffic without gretzing the whole time.  The DSG blips the engine to match the gears for downshifting and it shifts up and down in about .2 seconds.  Check it out, and let's hope Chevrolet looks at it too.

Congrats, I just ordered mine, White with similiar options minus Nav and wheels! I love that new Blue! I just got rid of my '05 Victory Red, loved it although, it never looked like my '99 Victory Red, which was brighter and more orangy in my opinion, but I also wanted to get White shows less scratches, especially here in NY when you drive it year round, but congrats again!
