Hi C3starship,  what I was trying to figure out is if the radiator support is the same for a BB & SB. DeWitt says theres fits the SB core support.
DV8 found a deal, but will you spend more if you need to change the support.

Here's my understanding.
The C3's all had the same rad support, the only dif is with the rubber brackets.
( So it looks to me  )

In the Dewitts, they state that the temp sending unit mounts in the rad. They do thin instalation for you. Instead of you haveing to drill the rad and install the sensor. Everything is there and ready to install.
I know, $900 plus is a bit much, but I would have to take the rad to a shop to get the work done.
I'm still all eyes and ears on this, so if anyone comes up with more info, let me know. I mainly showed the Dewitts package, so others could see what options I'm findin'.

You have a Vette with some power and that power produces some heat. Since I'm spending your money, go with DeWitts, the aluminum one, 4 row ( thank you for explaining that), they are Vette pro's.
Ask them about the over flow tank and where the cap goes, since that's sells seperately as do the hoses and clamps.
The custom shroud- find out more about that, lets try to get to a bottom line for the works. PG.

I asked these guys your question and they said  a 4 row would not give enough air flow for street use and a 2 row would be better.    ????/I'm lost on this one. Lots of good info here though.

I guess it's a crap shoot! it's always been my experience that more coolant flow and  more air flow means cooler engine with respect to time in radiator. I guess it really comes down to the fans, the thermostat, water pump GPM and the actual volume of the radiator, and readily available cold air. I think any well built American made radiator with the right air flow would work. The radiator sets at an odd angle so I would find one that was on the overkill side of working. Cheers
