I'm hoping to order a new '08 coupe and take the museum delivery. I drag raced and wrenched for years but have been out if it for a few years. I will again with my new Vette. I had a '99 that I bought new, and I'm a life-time member of the museum. I'm curious as to how much these dealers will-DEAL on a special ordered car? How much are they coming off the list price? Any dealers better than others or recommend? Is that adjustable suspension any helpful for drag racing? Thoughts and opinions on the new dual mode exhaust? Wheels? I think the chrome looks better, but as a drag-racer, I'm thinking aluminum as they are/SHOULD-BE lighter? I'm not fond of the Navigation as that technology is constantly changing and will be outdated soon... If ya'll don't mind sharing, what kind of deal did you get on yours if you ordered it, and what options does it have? Any thoughts, opinions, and suggestions appreciated. Thanks Ronnie

Thanks for the response. So should hit them up for that chart invoice price and then maybe another $2 to $500 dollars? Cool. I'll send email in a few minutes. Ronnie

I appreciate the info. I'm gonna shop around, looking for a DEAL obviously. I'm saving that chart. Anyone know much about the dual mode exhaust? Is it worth the cost? I won't be replacing the stock exhaust. I'm a firm beliver in keeping a stock exhaust and still putting it in the high 10s. :)

I just traded my '05 Victory Red Z51 2LT Coupe with glass roof, and ordered an '08 Artic White / Cashmere Interior 3LT Coupe with a 6-speed manual, Z51 Performance Package, NPP Dual - Mode Performance Exaust, 5-spoke Original Design Chrome Wheels, 1-piece Transparent Glass Roof Panel (Blue Tint). the Sticker came out to $56,105.00, with tax it would have come out to $60,873.93, but I saved on the tax because of my business. I ended up paying $500 over invoice for the '08 Coupe, and they gave me $36,500 for my '05 2LT Coupe, which was in mint condition even though it is my everyday car and has approximately 25,500 miles on it, I babied the heck out of it! And I am very close to the owner of the dealership and he owed me a favor and gave me about $3,500 over what the book value of the '05 was, so I ended up getting a great deal on the car. And when I bought my '05 2LT Coupe the sticker was $49,150 and I think I ended up paying $41,000 even for the car, and I traded an '03 3LT Loaded Convertible White with Black Top, Cashmere Interior, and they gave me about $37-38,000 for it at the time. So I am very blessed and usually get very good deals on cars when I buy them, becasue I deal with many dealerships through my business and am friends with most of the owners! So I am very blessed and thank God for the oppurtunities I get on these purchases!
