Got it!...

2 Vettes, one every 12.5 years, and put $50 g's in the first Vette, after each 6.25 years. In year 12.5, you'll have 1 like new 12.5 year old vette, and a brand new Vette. Still, with $100g's to drive on.

That's my final answer.
