I have found that my students that played a lot of video games, and that are good at them, are often the better pilots. Makes sense if you think about it, it's a matter of hand/eye coordination. When we fly at night on NVG's, I always think of it as a video game, an I tell my students to think of it that way. It helps them relax, and they often fly a little better. I did a search and that was the page I found. There are many more like it. I don't know why we use the term "plane" all the time. Technically it is a plane, but I know that we don't like the army term, "chopper". Let me know what you think. Like I said its a cool job for now.
