Need guidance or a GOOD exploded view on removing complete steering column for my 58. My books are not specific enough. I am obviously of simple mind and pics of how things attach seems to work better. thanks

I need pics sometimes too. Actually, I prefer pics.
If ya go to www.ecklers.com , you can find some great maunals with good pics and exploded views.
You can get specific manuals for your year and model.
Try the factory assembly manual, and Corvette shop manual.
