The heat will not blow in the car, the cool air will,so I took my 1994 corvette to the chevy dealer, and they ordered a new actuator to open and close some type of door under the dash, well they put the new one in and they cant get it to work. They were trying to reset the computer to make it work, any ideas,    Thanks

Wow,  I don't think I wanna know the labor cost to R&R that "door" you are talkin' about.  They have to pull off a good part of the dash to get in there and do that job.

Cars (used to have) heater control valves.  The heater core is a (mini-sized) radiator.  With the valve closed,  no heated water flowed thru it and thus you had no heat in the car.  Now,  there is NO valve and the heater core has continual flow.  The "door" opens/closes to allow heat from the core into the passenger compartment.  Yours must be stuck closed.

Mine was stuck partially open,  thus I had some heat along with a/c.  Somehow it became (unstuck) and all is well.  Good luck.
