Got no replies so far. Oh well i did get the heater core removed yesterday. Not too bad, but not any extra room to spare getting it out from under dash. I did have to remove the glove box and also the radio which made it a lot easier to see everything. I had to remove the a/c duct work first and there is one 1/2" nut to remove from the inside. It is located up on the firewall next to the kick panel. the rest of the fastners(4) were under the hood. They are the ones that hold the evaporator to the firewall. If you are just doing the heater core you don't need to dis-connect the the a/c lines from the evaporator core. Hopes this helps someone else down the road.
