Just wondering if ACDelco parts like plugs, wires, and the distributor/rotors would be a good buy or should the money be put out for the msd wires or bosch plugs.  Or even the $100.00 Accel spark plugs.  I guess my question is do you really get what you pay for in this area?

ZR1clone you will probably get as many answers to this as what type of oil to use. I personally think the AC Delco is the way to go. I try to use the same parts as the manufacture to keep the car reliable. Just my $.02 worth.

Good question. I had AC Delco wires, rotor and cap on mine for 6 years, a few months ago I went to Auto Zone for a new cap and rotor, they offered Dura Last and the boxes said made in Mexico. I passed on that and went to Advance, they had AC Delco and those were in the same shape box and also said made in Mexico, so I paid double for what looked like the same parts. But I agree with Ric, and try to use what GM used. PG.

Thanks for the info guys.  Gonna go ACDelco all the way.  Cap and Rotor on Ebay for $9.99 and plug wires were like $15-$19.  If you're looking.

Just my 2 cents too.  I always go with AC Delco.....it was in there originally and seems to do very well....why change:)
