Hello Everyone,

I have been looking at all the information on this web-site for awhile before I signed on as a new member on February 8, 2008.  Around the 10th I sent in a question about a problem that I have with my '78 Vette.  As to date, no response.

I will pose the question again.  My turn signals stopped working.  The lights come on both front and rear and left and right; however, none blink.  They continue to stay on until they are cancelled.  The Vette has an adjustable telescoping steering wheel.  I would like to make the repairs myself if possible.  Any information that someone can provide is greatly appreciated.

I love the information that is shared here.  I have looked at several other minor problems that I have and found some very informative answers.  Thanks again for the help

I agree, it sounds like the flasher relay is kaput. It is a small aluminum can located on the fuse panel, it simply pulls out and the replacement one plugs back in. Probably cost about $5 at your local parts store. Here's a picture, it is the can on the left.

Do the 4-way flashers work? If so, you can test the turn signals by swappin' the 4-way relay, and the t/s relays (if they're the same spec).
