I was trying to get an idea about how much all new injectors would be for my 1990 Coupe.  I have been noticing a loss of power when traveling at speeds around 60 or so.  I noticed also that sometimes I seem to have more power while pressing on the gas less and less power when I push the pedal in further.  Sometimes the engine has very little power when going 10mph then I push the pedal in more and it seems like more gas is going in but nothing is happening.  Then all the sudden the power comes like a surge.  Talked to a mechanic today and told him my symptoms.  He said probably the fuel filter.

So anyway I was looking at the JEGS site for an idea on the worst case scenario.  That being having to change some fuel injectors and or the plugs and plug wires.  JEGS had the 24lb injectors from ACCEL for $47.99 and the 30lb ones for$49.99.  Not a bad price.  I've been looking only at MidAmericaMotorworks for my parts prices and the are incredibly high for most things.  Although sometimes it seems like they are the only place to go for some things.  Their best price for replacement injectors I think is $69.99 for the 24lb.

If anyone understands my loss of power or can comment on the 24 or 30 lb injectors I would really appreciate the feedback.  I would guess that larger injectors would call for other modifications too.  I am not very engine friendly but would like to be.  Thanks for taking the time to read this long and hopefully not too confusing thread.  Thanks-ZR1clone-Kevin

Hi Kevin
You haven't got a answer yet so I will give you my thoughts on the injectors. If you haven't changed the cam and head work done to increase the horsepower the 24 lbs injectors would be fine. If you just have the normal bolt on after market mods the 24 lbs should be fine. GM figured out what you needed and then went a little rich to protect your Eng for normal HP. If you go to rich on your stock engine you will loose HP. So I guess I am saying not to use the 30 lbs injectors. I think  others could comment on your Eng problems better then I because I don't have the same engine as you but you should try getting your codes to see if that new dash is working OK.
good luck Ric
http://www.c4guru.com/articles/CCMCodePull.pdf Kevin this is a link to help you pull codes. It looks to me like you have a 1992 or 1993 dash so this should help with the operation of the dash. your codes will depend on which year CCM you have. just try to see if you can get code 12 to see if it will work with the PCM and CCM
