If I am not mistaken, the rear on a C3 (you didn't specify year) has drum brakes so you should be able to pull the brake drum off and knock out the broken ones with a punch and hammer. Then insert the new ones from the inside of the drum. Never done it on a corvette but have on other GM vehicles of that era. I think I'm right. Someone tell me if I am wrong. If they are disc brakes, I am at a loss because I haven't done the job on disc.

Only problem is to make sure you have room on the back side of the hub to drive the old ones out. Insert the new ones in holes from inside and use a standard steel lug nut turned around backwards with a washer behind it. Screw the lug on each stud and here's where its tricky. It sure helps to have an air compressor with a 1/2 " impact to buzz it right on the back side til the shoulderof the stud seats on the hub.
