I'm in Mount Holly, NC the next town to the east is Charlotte if I drive south a few miles it's SC. My sister has been to Germany twice, I'll ask her what cities she has been to, PG.

I was once in 2005 to Charlotte, but only on airport when had an intermediate stop on flight from Frankfurt to Newport News, VA. In NC must be a large Army fort, there is the ex boyfriend of my sister, as he left his unit in Wiesbaden Germany last year. He was a good guy and we talked a lot about US cars.. In SC is spartanburg, where I ordered October 2007 (!) my new company car BMW X5 3.0sd, but now I cancelled the deal as arrogant BMW guys extended the delivery time from March to June 08. Instead of that I ordered a 2008 Silverado Duramax 4x4 Crew Cab as new company car, which shall be shipped from East Coast ( I guess Brunswick or Baltimore ) by next 2 - 3 weeks. My Chevy No.2 .. ;-) We have still little snow and cold so I can´t take out my Vette

Hi pg Duesseldorf is nice but expensive, and famous for his down town with lots of shops, bars and pubs to drink dark beer there yammi Its quite near to me, two hours by car. Your sister was there for shopping I bet.. I live 50 mls north of Frankfurt. End of May I get visited by three of my Alaskan relatives from Anchorage, the Corvette will be surely a big surprise to them, and hopefully my company car Silverado will be arrived also until then ... big eyes guaranteed ;-) Yesterday and today was sunny, made some more pics. Seems that Spring is finally on its way.. I am still BMW enthusiast, own a ´01 330Ci Convertible ( but for sale now ), ´02 530 Diesel station wagon ( to be replaced by the Silverado) and a ´99 R 1100 S Sport Boxer. All Black of course.. The Sport boxer gets retired and will be replaced by all new R 1200 GS in April. I hope for sunny Sunday tomorrow to take the Vette again for a ride yeeehah Same to you in NC ! Thumbnail Image
