At the vette fest last Nov, I met some very knowledgeable people. One of those cos was Muskegon Brake.  Nice catalog.  Ordered KYB gas shocks all around, new steel leaf spring and hdwr, and sway bar bushings. Also checked mid-america, ecklers and willcox.  i like calling some of these suppliers to ensure what type of company i'm dealing with.

just trying to be real careful spending money cause it can get out of hand real quickly.

yeah i'll get around to it. just had uverse installed to replace my tv and dsl service. highly anxious but everything is up and running. called comcast to cancel and wouldn't you know it. they offered a years tv service for 35 bucks/mo. too bad they couldn't do this a month ago when i called.  well, hopefully everything goes okay. this impacts 4 pcs and 3 tvs. the vette hasn't been on my mind the last couple days but i'll get those pics loaded...someday.

One more thing, check the condition of the center and end bushings on the differential. Commonly overlooked, but very important.

Thanks for the tip C3 Starship- i looked at the muskegon brake catalog and saw the differential mtg kits- spoke to Andrew who is very good with his help, support and advice.  now as far as the diff crossmember cushion- well that one is $120...so we'll wait to see if it actually needs replacing.
also muskegon brake seems highly reputable and good to deal with.

$120!? Hmmm,.....seems awful high to me.  Ya might want to check with www.ecklers.com and check their price.

wow huge difference and checked on the "Rear Differential Crossmember Cushion" in Ecklers and found their price is $129.99
So, it seems very expensive for that one.

Maybe I missed something but C3's link parts totaled about $20.
