Generally it's the higher mileage, or long term inattention (parking 'er in a feild  ), that causes the center bushing to fail. Ya might change u-joints twice in the life of the bushing. Anytime ya have 'er in the air, check it all out. _____________________________ 1980 L-82 Fastback (forward too) Mono composite front and rear.
