Sorry for your bad luck with the first two. My search for an 82 CE found what I thought was a good deal right on Long Island where I live after, as I said previously, after a two year search. This car was owned by an officer of the local Vette club so I thought if he steered me wrong there's really a problem. Well, the day I was supposed to tow it to my mechanic for him to check it out, the sale suddenly fell through for some BS reasons. I wound up finding one in Vermont that I drove 9 hrs to see and took home the next day. That guy had a whole course set up for me to test drive where I could experience all conditions. It was a pleasure and I have been happy with it ever since. So, hang in there and don't rush. The right car will come along. Good luck.. Joe
