Just recently my vette has been giving me the check engine light when driving to and from work. It usually happens when driving at 55-60mph and after ive been driving for say 30 or so minutes. Its been doin this everyday, yet If I were to stop at a store or anything that I would shut the engine off for a period of time, It won't come back on at all until I reach home, which is about a 30-40 mile drive to and from work. I pulled the codes and it gives me codes 32 and 42, EGR and EST. Ive changed out the ignition module because I was replacing it with an Accel ign. module along with msd spark plug wires and accel cap, rotor, and coil, yet I still get the check engine light and code 42. The EGR I haven't gotten to yet as I need to find time to have my car sit since its my only driver right now, but what else can I check on the EST system? Would frayed wires that connect to the ign module cause this?

Code 32 also can mean a problem with knock sensor as the EST module controls ignition timing based on readings from the knock sensor, not the ignition module. The ignition module takes commands from EST to adjust timing. EST module usually is mounted on the side of the blower case and the knock sensor is on the side of the block just in front of the starter.

It idles fine when im at a stop and doesn't loop or anything like that. The idle does loop a little bit though when im backing down the hill on my driveway and im turning the steering wheel to straighten out the car. As im doing this, I have the clutch fully depressed and am just using the gravity of the hill for the car to move. When It does this the engine light would be on after the given drive from work.
