Yes, like these guys said, get one of the basic tune-up manuals, "Chilton" if possible. The best manual that I've come across, not because I have one, is the "GM Corvette Shop Manual" for your specific year (only) from the parts department at the Chevy dealer. It has mostly "Third Shop" info and above, not much operator or basic tune-up level info, but has ALL the specifics for your year 'Vette not found in any other manuals. It goes as far as breaking down the transmission, A/C compressor, carb, etc. The best of luck to you. I know it'll be a great project, I'm alittle jealous, well, alot jealous. Again, good luck.
