Hey there, my name''s Keegan. I''m on the other forum that this company manages, Monte Carlo Forum (MCF)

I currently have a 336 WHP Monte Carlo, and this fall, plan on getting rid of the highly modified V6, in exchange for a Vette.

I''m interested in something newer (04+) and definitely can''t go backwards as far as speed is concerned (Monte runs a 13 flat, high 12''s with great FWD traction)

I''ll DEFINITELY end up doing stuff to this vette engine just as I have for my Monte.

Anyone have suggestions? I want to be running mid to low 12 seconds at the track, hopefully stock(ish)

Anyways, thanks for reading. Within the next few months, I''ll be all over this site, reading, and hopefully selling the Monte to get a Vette =)

Take care everyone!

-Keegan

I think C6 might be a little out of my price range, so I''m probably looking C5ish... and maybe a twin turbo kit down the line... but WOW, so much knowledge, going from a Blown 6 to an 8 is a totally different beast!

Finally narrowed it down. C5, either a 99 or 02, low miles, decent condition. Hopefully there are enough mods out there that I can buy to help me fix it up to make it fast ;)
