Hi Ric, R-134A is the proper full identification for the refrigerant used in automotive. If your buying it at an auto supply then it''s the right stuff. If your looking for a manifold gage set for automotive it has to include or be ready for the quick-connect fittings on the newer cars. I don''t normally suggest the purchase of import merchandise of any kind but I used a manifold set from Harbor Freight tools that seemed to be OK quality. What year is the car in question?, are you converting from R-12 to 134A?
