Here''s a video of my Vette right after we cut the mufflers off:

Here is with the new Flowmaster Super 40s:

Specs

Summit Iron heads, 8.4:1 compression, 230 duration @ .050 int/ext | 110 deg lob. sep.| .488 lift int/exh
single exhaust thats kinda why its raspy when you rev it with my mufflers

this is before I spun the rod bearing, I just got my block back from the machine shop, so I should be able to start putting my engine together, everything is the same cept I got flattop pistonss so it should be 9.4:1 compression!!  hopefully I will get duals next, it is in the budget!!

What''s your head combustion chamber volume?  The reason I ask is the L-82 w/ flat tops and double valve reliefs has a CR of 9:1 with a 72 cc head.

I have 67cc heads

stock CR was 8:1, with the stock 76cc heads

the stock pistons have a massive 18cc dish, but remember, I spun a rod bearing, so my new engine, which I start assembling this weekend, will have the flat-tops and a .022" head gasket which should put me just over 9:1

I was VERY disappointed when I took the heads off and saw those pistons
