Finally got my first corvette 93 lt1 40th anniversary coupe.
My question is the fuel always reads full. I manage an auto shop so I pulled the sending unit and checked function it seems ok (sweeps through ohm meter just fine). When installed in the car and started I get a full reading and 2.05 volts on the grey wire, with the car not started in the run position I get an open circut? any ideas what would cause this. I have a chilton manual on the car but thats useless.

Mech259 can tell you whats up with this.  He has helped with this problem before.  You might do a search in the archives and find the thread.

You''re gonna'' need a shop manual. Factory manual.

Hang the chiltons haynes in the ''library'', rip a page at a time, read it, crinkle it up a little, wipe, and flush.

Hello,my friend....mech259 seems to bo the go-to guy around here when it comes to things like this....he''s very knowledgeable. But,if you want to go a step further, you may want to get a true service manual.Corvette Central has just what you may need;part # 114059,but here''s the thing....it costs $129.95,so evidently the choice to get one is yours.Hope this help;always a friend,Joe. BTW,cwb is right,LOL!!!!!
