I have a 2001 C5 Vert. LS1, stock as can be. Recently ive just been working on getting the car up to excellent condition. Changed the Oil with Royal Purple syn, New Fuel filter. Injector flush, fuel system cleaner (GM kind), air filter, cleaned MAF sensor, cleaned Throttle body, no mods yet. I have some things coming but thats another post.
Im a tech at a cadillac, ponti, GMC, buick dealership so i have some good knowledge i suppose. And have some great resources as far as looking things up on the car. Well i got in the car the other day and started in up. Check engine light popped on. Plugged in my tech 2. Lean codes for both banks. Looked at my long term fuel trims 17-19% Reset them, and after a min right back to the same. Did all my regular checks, Short term was bouncin round 0%. No vacum leaks. MAF plugged in and new it was clean. PCV lines all hooked up. Might check again. Sprayed brake clean everywhere and nothing changed on computer. Put new fuel filter on it and still same numbers. Gotta hook up fuel pressure guage now. See how that is. But i guess my question is anyone on here seen what theres is normally sitting at idle?
