Hi guys

Just curious how much room there is behind the front bumpers on the C5''''s. I''m considering a project car and want to have a nice turbo setup and was concerned about fitting the intercooler. I hope to fit at least a 4 to 5" thick core behind there.

If anyone has any rough mesurements, even off the top of their head would be great..

If I don''''t run into fitment issues and go ahead with this project I''''m sure I will tons of questions.

Thanks for any advice

Ryan

Procharger, at least the heavier duty D1 model, has a split intercooler (two units) one on each side under the headlight on that side, with a split path that Ys back into the induction.  each was about a foot by ten inches high and 8 back to front, or perhaps a bit larger.  The ducting was the difficult thing to fit, I remember.

Hey thanks lee!

It looks like I will have to do a dual water to air intercooler then. Now I just have to find the C5 I want. Can''t wait to start on this project.
