Hey guy''s and Gals,

I have a 2003 z06 corvette and can''t really tell what the dash is made of. I wanted to check to see if it is leather or vinyl before using a cleaner. I know the steering wheel and shifter are leather. I appreciate any advice on cleaner ect. I''m new to this site, but can tell it''s going to be a great resource.

It''s not leather some sort of composite vinyl over foam molding.  Armorall works pretty well on it.

For years, I''ve bought tack clothes (the rosin covered cloth sold at Home Depot to suck up sawdust before you finish furniture) and use that over the whole interior first, before armoralling.  It grabs all the dust and lint off the vinyl surfaces and even out of seam crevices.

Try using Meguiars gold class rich leather wipes. I use it on everything pretty much including the dash, afterwards I wipe it all down with a cloth rag. Looks great and doesn''t have that greasy armor all feel.
