Hi guys

I recently did some mods to my 99 vet conv. .......callaway honker, borla stingers, dyno tune
I want to improve the handling? The car jumps(doesnt handle the turns well) and fish tales all over the place.
What can I do to improve this?
I was thinkig of changing the stock tires and upgrading the suspension. What would be the best upgrades?

thanks for the advice

If you still have runflats, get rid of them and get some real tires like Goodyear GSD3s, Michelin PS2s, or BF Goodrich KDW2s. Even General UHPs will improve the ride. As for suspension, I like LG Motorsports coilovers. They include Bilstein shocks and should tame the side-stepping (from the reviews I''ve read). I hope to get this setup some day.

Yeah, lose the runflats. Coilovers are great, though spendy. A good first step would be to install C6 (NOT C5!!!) Z51 sway bars front and rear with some urethane bushings instead of the OEM rubber ones. Also replace the end links if you have the plastic ones, which you do, I have a 99 coupe. Get the solid metel ones. They''re a direct bolt-in. I''d go Z51, not Z06, we''ve tried both on the track and the C6 Z51''s give the best results. You can get the sways from gmpartshouse.com for under 200.00, end links are 4 for about 100.00. Don''t remember how much the bushings are but aren''t too bad. Unless you have the clams for coil-overs try out some C6 Z06 shocks, same reason as above. They just seem to work better, and the price is pretty good. Don''t remember off hand but I think a full set''s like 300 - 400 bucks.
