Callaway Honker is certainly one of the best in terms of quality and performance. Vararams are popular, but are not quite in the same league, qualitywise. I''d stick with the same MAF and TB - you won''t gain much with aftermarket ones. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust system? You can chop 20 lbs just by getting rid of the heavy steel OEM CAT-back stuff. Hopefully, you already trashed your runflats. Running non-runflats will save you 24-28 lbs of unsprung weight.

You said you went to a Zo6 suspension: just what parts did your replace/get rid of? As to the engine, the exhaust is the place to start but the intake will not make that much difference regardless of what it is. First: a good set of long tube headers. A must. Second: A cam/springs/retainers/rods/rocker arms set, frolm a good source like Crowler, and a really good tune, would wake the engine up.

Of course, all of what Lee recommends depends upon your State''s smog requirements. Here in CA, long tube headers are illegal and a heads/cam setup can push your hydrocarbons over the limit. Lee, I''ve seen gains of 10 RWHP+ from aftermarket intake filter systems, quite a few times, my C5, included. Having a true cold air intake is best, since it pressty much eliminates ECU detuning due to high intake air temperatures. Dave

Sorry, I thought you were referring to an air filter/intake system. Lee is correct, a different intake manifold will not make that much of a difference. What you have for your air filter/intake system is probably fine as long as your filter is good. Check your throttlebody opening every year or so to make sure it is clean. Other than that, 3.90s or 4.10s will get you some better acceleration numbers.
