I just purchased a 454HO crate engine, Gen VI block, for my 71 vette. Its a 4 speed trans. I noticed that there is no place to put the ball stud for the clutch linkage. Does anyone make a bracket to bolt to the block or has anyone made there own to solve this problem? Thanks, Jeff

May have to make the conversion to hydraulic master and slave cylinder, since the later models used that setup.

Yeah, I think it is assumed that you will go to a hydraulic clutch with the newer crate engines. It is not that difficult a conversion and it is actually a much better clutch linkage, too.
