I overheard some Chevy Employees talking about it at the LA Auto Show today. they said that there will be two models of it, one with a basic Super pushing out over 500 hp, and another one that will be made in limited production with Twin Turbo's pushing out over 700 hp.

Again, there will be lots of rumors and misinformation and misinterpretation. Those guys overheard by your friend could be the same ones who just three-four years ago were telling folks "unoffically" that the C6 ZO6 would have a 400 cubic inch three-valve head engine with variable intake timing and twin plugs.

Assuming the blue Devil gets to production (I can see it being killed, easily), my money is still on just one model with a blown (SCr or turbos) 7-liter engine, at around 625-650 flywheel rating. the ZO6 is currently at 505 so they need nothing in that range. And it takes at least 100 HP to make any real market/image impact, but I don't see GM going more than about 30% up in power with forced induction.

I would love to see this car built by Chevrolet, it gives me goose bumps just thinking about it, I know it's not a good idea to believe rumors when you hear them, but this is such a good rumor I want to see it happen very badly.

Nothing would please me more then to drive a 650 HP ZO7 corvette, I have nothing but good to say, I'm all giddy just like a school girl on prom night.

Well, you know, you can build your own.
