Power door locks - 4/7/2006 9:09:45 PM    dok651   Posts: 1 Joined: 4/7/2006 Status: offline Just purchased a 79 with power door locks that dont work. I have the owners manual, the chiltons and the Haynes books and none mention door locks. They dont tell which fuse feeds them or any wiring diagrams, its like they dont exist. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Post #: 1

You probably either have bad actuators or a switch is bad. Try your door locks at night with lights on, watch and see if you get any dimming when you hit the rocker switch. If you do, you have a bad actuator probably. _____________________________ L.B.
