i think that they are technically all painful until they turn 18 or so and move out..and learn that they arent always right...thats what did it for me!

Agreed, I remember the day I realized that my father wasn't an idiot afterall, he slowly got smarter as I went along. I tend to agree with those that think children should be locked up an put in a closet from the age of 13 to 18.

it sounds more like theyre talking in code...but im sure my grandma and grandpa think my cousin sounds mentally disturbed when she says "L-O-L" in context....
