I'm a believer!
When I bought my 1980 L82, The front and rear suspensoin was shot. I found a fully tunable suspention at EKLERS (Mid America and Zip don't have it). This system is '63-'82 (they have one for '88-'96 also) Max Performance Suspension Package. It bolts in with NO alterations. It replaces the coil spring front with a mono-spring setup. Combined with Cooper Cobra GT Radials my car is now untouchable in the turns. I try to tell everone about this suspention since it is absolutely mind blowing. You can adjust ride height and spring responce on all four corners. (with just a wrench, no pulling or changing componants) It runs about $2350 plus shipping. It includes everything for conversion, upper and lower A-arms, Blistein shocks, front and rear swaybars, front and rear monosprings, bushings, struts, etc. If you're looking for an upgrade and not concerned about keeping your Vette original, check it out.

That's a great price considering all the goodies you get in that package!

That sounds like a really good deal, I have actually been thinking about getting that exact suspension from Ecklers. I really would love an adjustable suspension, and the price isn't bad at all. Now that I see how satisfied you are I'll take it more into consideration. Thanks for the post.

Now, almost a year later, I'm am still very pleased with the kit.
35 mph turns at 50 plus. Great balance in the twisties. No body roll, flat and fast as hell.  The "Starship" hangs very well, thinkin' of installing 5 pt harness so that I can hang with 'er.

I should have included this earlier, I understand that "Vette Brakes" developed and also sells this system. As I mentioned before, I got mine through Ecklers.

Here's a couple of pics with the front system installed, showing the ride height and spring responce adjustment points
