Default 1963 340 HP Carter Carb service needed

I am in the Detroit area and in need of service to my original carb, only 22,000 original miles.
Runs great although I need to really feather the clutch and rev it up to get it moving or it will buck or stall?

I found a few places out of state that I can ship it to, looking for recommendations.

Might check with a local Corvette club for some leads.

I sent it to Carburators and More.
they did the rebuild and made the carburator suitable for todays oxigenated fuel, I hated to disturb the original look of the carburator but it needed to be cleaned and recoated.

I was given instruction to add a low presure holley fuel regulator 12-804 to keep the presure at 3lbs, how can I do this cleanly keeping the originality of a survivor car?

It starts and runs real nice now!

If you are worried about ethanol in the gas, what about all of the other susceptible Parts in the car such as the rubber lines, fuel pump diaphragm, and the sending unit in the tank?

What was the normal fuel pressure from the fuel pump before the carburetor overhaul?

If you are in the Detroit Area, go to the Web Site for Pure Gasoline and find a station that sells 100% gasoline, no ethanol. It will solve all your driveability issues and hot start vapor lock problems over the standard pump gas. Did you look for a Carter AFB rebuild kit? Fairly
simple and straight forward to rebuild. a carburetor from that era. The 100% pure gasoline costs about $4 per gallon, but I think it is worth it. Most stations around Marinas also carry gasoline for older boats.
