Brake line issues on a 66

Well guys. I talked my dad into some new wheels on his 66. He went with the TTII's 17x7's When I went to put them on I noticed his rear calipers leaking. So I rebuilt them. I got to the front and noticed the front left sticking so I went to rebuild it. Well the brake hose was froze to the caliper. Then the hose was froze to the little metal line that goes to the distribution block. After all said and done I have replaced all the metal lines in the front of the car. This also lead to the main big line that rides the frame rail. This is where I am having problems. The new line came in for that. I went to install it. Pain in the A@# it was. Well it appears that the previous owner may have cut the origonal lne and made a splice to the drivers rear. We had no idea. We just figured we needed to trim the line we had to fit the splice. Well for the life of me I can't get a double flare to seal on the splice.

Now that you know the somewhat short story. I was wondering. Is their a way to get the stock 1 piece brake line in this car with the body still on the frame. I can't for the life of me see how it is possable in the back of the car.

Any ideas at all....

RE: Brake line issues on a 66

rkm, I can't help you with your brake line problem, but I am curious about your wheel upgrade. I just posted a question on this issue, with no responses yet. I am interested in using this size rim on my 65. Will this size wheel fit stock and what tire size did you use? I would love to see a picture. Can you help me?
