C2 Basic Questions

Finally going to buy C2 at age 72!!
Does the C2 convertible have any kind of trunk or storage?
Will a standard set of golf clubs fit in the back of the C2 coupe or at least in the passenger seat??

Welcome to the forum.
With with the convertible top down, there's room behind the two seats and there might be enough room for a set of golf clubs if the passenger seat back was folded forward. There is probably room for a set of golf clubs on the passenger side with the seat to the rear position. Unless you are buying a completely restored one or are extremely familiar with mid-year Corvettes, I would suggest you find someone that is to inspect any potential purchases. Good luck.

Congratulations on your decision to buy a corvette. I am also 72 and bought my first corvette 49 years ago when I was a young engineer in training at the Chevrolet Engineering Center in Warren Michigan. Now 49 years latter, 6 Corvettes latter, currently own at 1963 SW coupe 340 327, I am still a Corvette driver. Also I am kind of a go to guy if you have questions on cars from the 1969 to 1975 era since I worked on them at the GM proving grounds doing testing, durability and development work on the C3.s My C2 knowledge comes from ownership over the last 40 years. To answer your question, you might have to push the passenger seat forward to get in a small to average size bag of clubs.on the diagonal I would take along a set of clubs and give it a try to be certain. Good Luck
