Default Check my math?

I have a 66 that I am just trying to document and I was wondering if someone could confirm my deduction.

The engine stamp pad has the following information
7102292 V083lHE
The engine block is a 3892657 (327) with a date casting of H266

Here is my deduction.

Block was cast Aug 26, 1966, but as per the pad was produced for a 67 model year car (#2292).
The heads are 3890462 with casting dates of H306 and H276 (Aug 30/27th 1966)

The 4spd has me confused however, it is a 388501 and has a date of P7P127
If I have it correct it is a P = Muncie; 7 = 1967, P127 =September 12,1967
The case is stamped with the same serial # 7S102292.

If I have this correct, this engine and transmission does not match my car. If anyone knows 1967 #2292 I have his running gear!!!

Thanks in advance,

Welcome to the forum.

since I never really got into the numbers on Corvettes I'm not sure I can help you but I think you can tell by the VIN if it's a 66 VIN or a 67 VIN. The date codes do make it look like the hardware all went into a 67 model since it was all August and September product. Can you tell if your VIN is for a 66?
