Cover Advice needed for a 1966

Hello everyone!

My father just recently purchased a 1966 Corvette. He will be storing it in his garage during the winters, and I figured a nice "housewarming/father's day" present for the car would be a nice indoor car cover for him.

I have a few questions:

1) This is a 66, but it does have side pipes. I'm not 100% sure if this was standard equipment on the 66, so there may need to be a custom cover made if this is not standard equipment

2) This is for indoor use only. I use an OEM cover for my vehicle when I store it in the offseason (Honda S2000) and it seems to be made of a very soft cotton material. I figure something similar would work for this car as well.

3) Any recommended manufacturers?

Thanks for your advice!

Hey schizo,
I bought my covers from California Car Covers. They have a great selection and you can have your dads nam or year of his vette embroidered on the cover. I also store my for the winter so i use a soft cover for the car and then I store it in a car bag that zips up enclosing the car copmpletely. This keeps all the critters from getting at the car and i\when you pull it out in the spring, it is already washed and waxed and ready to drive. The best investment I ever made.
