1969 Corvette Key Warning Buzzer Location?
I have a 1969 L71. The previous owner had a bad habbit of disconnecting various features...(I found the Cluch Petal Starter Switch with a jumper wire, rear astro vent vacum acutator disconnected, etc). I've recently learned that this car came with a key warming buzzer. The buzzer never worked since I owned the car, so I am wondering if it simply discconnected, but I have no idea of the location. Someone said to check the horn harness, but I have no clue where that is either. Can someone tell me exactly where to look to see if the buzzer is disconnected and other places and things I could check to see if it works?

So where was it? Behind the dash between the tach & speedo?

Under the hood, On the driver's side, Above the vacum reserve tank, screwed in under the fender, ... you will find a small (2x2) metal box with wires connecting to it.... it is the horn relay... I think 2 of the wires are for the horn... and one if for the buzzer. The one for the buzzer is red. Everything it connected and the horns and or buzzer don't work. You have another problem.

The part is actually called the Horn Relay and does act as the key warning buzzer also. The buzzer feature will burn out and the horn relay will still function.
