Hi and Welcome to the forum,
Over the years I've had tires from Good Year and this March I ended up at Firestone.
Seems like the choices for 15 inch tires is getting very slim.
235/70R15 front and 255/60R15 have worked well for me.

BF Goodrich maker Radial TA's to fit as Does Cooper with their Cobras. Am now running the Cobras, but have run TA;s and they're OK. There are quite a few hankooks, yamamotos, yamagamis etc out there if you want "inexpensive" tires.

BF Goodrich T/As 255-60/15 and Eagle GTs both work for me. Prefer the T/As.

True, there is a shortage of tires f/ our 15 inch rims now days. I had the Firestone Indys afew years back, and they were OK but rode so damn hard. I wasn't wanting excess rattles in my dash and other places, so I went to a set of touring Good Year tires that I ordered through the PX. The ride is so much smoother. I have to get into the corners quite deep to get the car sideways, but I don't do awhole lot of that anymore, only once in awhile when I drive my Vette. LOL! I had considered bigger rims and a lower profile tire, but the ride gets harder which is the very thing I wanted to get away from. I went to the Good Year place here in Killeen, a large shop, and they don't even carry anything in a 15 inch anymore. They said it's not worth keeping in the inventory. I'd say in due time, the good 15s will be really hard to come by. How do the Good Year Eagles ride? Please let me know, as although my tires are far from wearing out, they are almost five years old now, had to think about that f/ a minute, time flies. I had them put on in Shreveport only afew months after moving back here from Puerto Rico. Sincerely...Jimmy.

They rode OK but they were made back in the 70s so don't know how the current production would ride. I'll probably go w/ the BFG T/As when I get it back on the road.
