200-4Trana
Hello all
I have been restoring a 81 corvette rebuilt motor with vortex heads and putting in a 200-4 trans that has been rebuilt before I got it and has never ran it’s all still new and was rebuilt in 2002 anyway pulled the pan tonight to put in a b&m shift programmer then I found it has a mod in it seem like someone took out the lockup control valve out and put a zip tie on the tv cable bracket inside the trans now I don’t know what I have or what to do about it here is a picture of it any help would help me thx https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...e8c5ff04b.jpeg This is what I have on my 200-4R all electronics are disconnected https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...8faf2800e.jpeg |
This issue is above my pay grade, however may I suggest you stop in at a local transmission shop and ask them. I am curious why someone would remove that. Keep us posted, and good luck!
