'77 Rear suspension question

I have a '77 Corvette (obviously lol) that I have had for over 6 years. I am planning several projects this summer such as rebuilding the brakes, and the more troublesome area the rear suspension. The tires in the back are toed in at the top like this ---> /--\ as seen from the back. i think I need a new leaf spring at least as well as just needing to be rebuilt with new bushings and so forth. I would like to know how difficult a job this is. Any advice someone who has done this already might have would be great as well. I would even be happy with a reccomendation for a book or manual that would help me out.

thanks in advance.

RE: '77 Rear suspension question

First of all, there is adjustments on the inner portion of the upper control arms, I believe there are eccentrics that can move the camber in and out on the rear tires. If you want to raise the rear end, there are shim kits that go underneath the ends of the springs on each side to raise the ride heigth. Need to have a 4 wheel alignment after you change anything. Changing the rear spring is a troublesome task if you don't have the equipment to do it. Good Luck. [8D]
