Well you can ask anything you want, it's your car. If you're worried that you will have a problem selling ask yourself if you really are ready to take a loss. I watch a Bring a Trailer auction all the time, you can search it for sold listings to get a good picture of actual sales. There are still people out there willing to pay for a well done car. Good luck on your potential sale! ( You may be able to search E-bay sold listings also).

The latest Corvette Magazine buyer's guide lists a '76 as going from $5,500 up to $18,000. You can add $2,000 for L-82, $800 A/C, and $700 for the aluminum wheels.
